We got Spooky
on Jan. 21, 2004, three days after Tiger passed away.
Spooky was found Jan. 19, 2004
in a truck engine at the local Esso station and was
brought to our vet clinic. My hubby
phoned the vet to thank him for his help with trying to save Tiger and then
he asked if the clinic had any cats up for adoption. The
vet went and checked and said they had this little black thing that had just been
brought in. My hubby said that I wanted a tabby but it really didn’t matter to him and we would think
about it. Two days later we went and had a look at the cat and decided to take him. Spooky
needed a home and the outside heated cat house looked so empty and depressing. He’s turning out
to be a pretty good cat, actually right now he’s a kitten about six months old. He’s
taken well to Tiger’s house, has started planting
himself under the bird feeder – a potential hunter – and has pawed Pokey the
dog in the behind just like old Tiger used to do - maybe
Tiger reincarnated. We call him Spooky because he’s jet black and has the spookiest looking
green eyes – like a Halloween cat. Bad news…
Spooky went into the forest one day in early May and never came back. We did
get new cats which have a new story which is posted on new cats
